Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and independent Contract Vendor Booth Assistant to represent our company at various events, trade shows, and markets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the complete setup, professional operation, and efficient breakdown of our vendor booth, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for attendees and effectively promoting our products/services.
Key Responsibilities:
Booth Setup & Breakdown:
Transport, unload, and set up all booth materials, including displays, signage, products, promotional items, and furniture, according to company guidelines and event specifications.
Ensure the booth is visually appealing, well-organized, and consistently branded.
Efficiently dismantle and pack up all booth components at the close of events, ensuring all items are accounted for and ready for transport.
Customer Engagement & Sales:
Actively engage with attendees, providing excellent customer service and product/service information.
Generate interest and excitement around our offerings.
Effectively communicate key selling points and answer questions.
Process sales transactions accurately (if applicable, specify payment methods/systems used).
Capture leads and gather contact information as instructed.
Brand Representation:
Represent the company in a professional, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable manner at all times.
Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Logistics & Reporting:
Manage booth inventory and request replenishment as needed.
Report on event outcomes, including customer feedback, sales data, and any logistical challenges.
Communicate proactively with company contact regarding event progress and needs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in retail, sales, event marketing, or similar customer-facing roles.
Prior experience with vendor booth setup and operation is highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Proactive, friendly, and enthusiastic personality.
Physical ability to lift and carry booth materials (up to [Specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs]) and stand for extended periods.
Reliable transportation for transporting booth materials to and from event locations.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as events dictate.
