The Out of Area Protection by Inman provides coverage for transporting your loved one home if they pass away 75 miles or more from their residence. With just one phone call, we take care of all the necessary arrangements, allowing your family to focus on what matters most during a difficult time

When you enroll in the Out of Area Protection by Inman, you'll receive comprehensive support that includes:

Contacting a licensed funeral home or professional embalming service near the place of death
Transporting the deceased from the place of death to the funeral home for preparation
Preparing the deceased for transport
Securing all necessary documentation, including one death certificate
Placing the deceased in an appropriate shipping container
Arranging transportation to their local funeral home

How does the OAP by Inman work?

The OAP by Inman uses Inman Shipping Worldwide’s network of agents all of the world to assist in bringing a loved one home for ceremony.

When does the OAP cover?

The membership benefits include:

Contacting a licensed funeral home or embalming service near the place of death.
Transporting the deceased from the place of death to the funeral home or service center.
Preparing the deceased for transport.
Securing all necessary documentation, including one death certificate.
Placing the deceased in an appropriate shipping container.
Arranging transportation to their local funeral home.

Is there an age limit?

No. The plan is available to anyone.

What do participants get when they purchase a plan?

Upon receipt of a paid OAP by Inman, a participant will receive a welcome letter, hard plastic credit card size member identification card and a change of address card.
